APATHY NEWS

February 21, 2010: Rumor has it that original lead guitarist Manuel Cordova has re-joined the band."Manny has joined the group to do a few shows, nothing is concrete as of now. So if you see Manny's name posted on sites it's because he is the lead guitar player as of right now. He's hasn't played in a while and he wants to make sure as well as the rest of the guys in the band that this what he wants to do. So far practice has been good, we're working off the rust and getting ready for our show in Pennsylvania." - P. Wells

February 13th 2010: Pete Wells and Bill Jameson are psyched about the next set of shows lined up and the next album: "Just got back from practice, a bit rusty but things are good as we are gearing up for some Spring dates. While at practice we went over some of the new stuff for the next album and it sounds so awesome. I can honestly say it's going to be much more brutal! More fire to the fuel. We have this one riff we may play at one of our upcoming shows just gotta write some lyrics. It feels good to be writing again, we have been supporting the record ADOV for a while now, and we will continue to support the album till the end of the 2010 summer.

September 20th 2009: Apathy opened up for legendary thrashers WHIPLASH last night in their hometown of Clifton, NJ. A show way overdue for Apathy, the guys along with Whiplash brought the roof down and cleared the bars, all attention was front and center for Apathy. It was a 25minute assault and non stop floor movement, something owner Freddie Dingo has never seen in a long time, especially for a local act. Fans were sing along to the songs Era Of Terror and Violent Nature.
