Review by Anthony DeLuca - Unstoppable Force Webzine 1/2/10
Throw out the idea that an unsigned band produces shit sounding records. APATHY has clearly taken the effort in giving the fans a nicely produced album.....something some larger bands lack. Content here is PACKED with pleanty of Thrash Metal to last - ten songs round out this debut gem. This is a clever nod to the album title, "A Decade of Violence". I am a huge Thrash fan and when it is played right it totally kills in my opinion. Well, you can add thisband to the list. Bone crushing riffs and perfect thrash metal vocals were a highlight for me on this. I am a sucker for a good riff and this one had plenty of those and just had my head banging in seconds. This is pure old school thrash metal delight. The production is perfect and the guitar sound is giving my neck more workouts that it needs ha, ha. This brings back Bloodfeast, Whiplash, Deathrash, etc. I will def try and get an interview with this band asap.

.....finally, hitting the shelves this week is the debut CD from my favorite local thrashers Apathy! Their new CD, A Decade Of Violence, dropped locally this week and will be released worldwide later this summer.

I’ve been getting messages from Pete and Bill from Apathy all week! Looks like the boys are finally done recording their upcoming CD, A Decade Of Violence, and they’re super excited about it! So, excited that singer and guitarist, Pete Wells, actually sent me a video of the boys during their recording sessions via text message, and drummer Bill Jameson emailed me three rough tracks to listen to. The songs that he sent me—“Machine Gun Rain,” “Era of Terror,” and “War Torn” sounded pretty good for rough tracks. The guitar work on these songs was typical classic metal riffs ala Megadeth, Metallica, Testament, Flotsam and Jetsam, etc. These songs brought me back to an old

After playing an unbelievable show at the Starland Ballroom in
Pete Wells and his boys, or should I say “Metal Gods,” from Apathy are looking to take some time off to write some new material for their upcoming untitled CD. Well, actually they’ve already begun writing it, but Apathy feels that they need to take some time off from performing to iron things out with the new songs that they’ve written.
